Meet the Awards Speaker - Jess Stenson, 2022 Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist
Jess's current Marathon personal best of 2:25:15 was set in Perth in October of 2021 - a result which qualified her for the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games. It was during this event, with her husband and son on the sidelines that Jess's longstanding dream of becoming a Commonwealth gold medallist came true - a team effort that she will treasure forever.Off the training track, she enjoys drawing upon her sporting experiences and physiotherapy knowledge to encourage others to enjoy active and healthy lifestyles. Jess attributes her success quite simply to her love of running, determination, balanced approach to training and the strong support she receives from family, friends, her coach Adam Didyk and training group Team Tempo. She is grateful for the growing opportunities for women in sport and is passionate about helping to keep this momentum going.
Meet the MC - Steph Frick
Steph Frick is a curious conversationalist, who is passionate about genuinely connecting with people to authentically bring stories and events to life. An experienced Adelaide based MC, presenter & producer. Steph has produced and presented content for Network Ten’s Totally Wild, Scope, Shake Takes and Coding@Home.
