She is excited to be at the forefront of implementing Logan’s 2032 Legacy Roadmap\, working with partners across government\, industry and the community to identify opportunities that will enable Logan’s businesses and residents to benefit from the Olympic and Paralympic Games\, while helping prepare the city to host a sport in 2032. Her work focuses on creating long-term economic and social outcomes that leave a positive legacy for the city. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Peter McCue | Principal Lead - Physical Activity| Health and Wellbeing QLD \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n Peter is the Principal Lead – Physical Activity at HWQld and is responsible for provision of strategic leadership towards design\, coordination and implementation of physical activity interventions and specialised advice for preventive health strategies at the local\, State and National level.   Peter is a concurrent PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Medicine and Health\, School of Population Health\, University of NSW Sydney (UNSW) and is investigating effective ways to engage political leaders in physical activity policy development processes. Peter provides ongoing leadership in the region through his role as Chair of the Asia Pacific Physical Activity Society (ASPA) Advocacy Committee. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n David Martin | FRLA Green Games Legacy & Urban Green Infrastructure Strategy \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n David Martin is a Fellow and Registered Landscape Architect with the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) and holds a Masters degree in Sustainable Development. He is a regular guest lecturer in ‘Green Games’ Legacy – based on key professional roles designing one of the SYDNEY2000 Games largest satellite venues – the 375ha Olympic Equestrian venue – set within the Western Sydney Parklands\, together with 15 years as Manager\, Public Domain Design for the Sydney Olympic Park Authority.David is also recognised subject matter expert in Climate Change Adaptation and Urban Green Infrastructure – as AILA’s Lead National Representative for the Australian Climate Change Adaptation Standard (AS5334-2013) and National Urban Green Infrastructure Planning and decision Framework (SA 214 2023).  David is a founding member of the National Urban Green Infrastructure Roundtable – comprised of 12 national professional and industry associations and is a member of the Australasian Green Infrastructure Network. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n ABOUT THE AWARDSEach year\, PLA acknowledges excellence in our industry through its prestigious Awards of Excellence.
