DESCRIPTION:Following the fantastic response to our inaugural Council and Community Participation Forum\, Parks & Leisure Australia Vic/Tas is delighted to welcome you to the second network meeting. The first forum demonstrated the strong appetite across the sector for connection\, collaboration and shared learning. This follow-up session has been designed to continue those conversations\, build on the ideas generated in May and explore practical actions that will strengthen our growing network. Hosted by Stonnington City Council\, this shorter morning session will provide an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues\, hear updates since the forum and contribute to the next stage of the forum. Light refreshments (tea and coffee) will be available. Our new Council and Community Participation Teams group has been established to help members continue sharing ideas\, ask questions and connect between forums. The Sport and Active Recreation channel is already active\, with additional channels to be introduced as the network continues to grow.
