DESCRIPTION:Formerly known as the “Melbourne Park Managers Forum (MPMF)” – we are excited to announce the upcoming Parks Management Forum and Site Tour hosted by City of Casey. Come and join park managers\, senior management and aspiring managers from a range of Melbourne Metropolitan LGAs (and hopefully beyond) to explore public space sites across Casey and share resources and information relating to parks planning\, management and operations. The PMF is an INVITE ONLY event for existing PMF contacts. If you would like to be involved but have not received a direct invite\, please contact victas@parksleisure.com.au before registering to confirm eligibility. AGENDA 								\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n				\n				\n																														\n				\n				\n				\n									About the Parks Management Forum After nine years\, we are rebranding the ‘Melbourne Parks Managers Forum’ to the Parks Management Forum. This change reflects our commitment to being a premier network not only for established Parks Managers but also for our region’s aspiring leaders. We look forward to providing expanded networking and development opportunities for the next generation of industry professionals across Victoria and Tasmania. The network aims to meet a minimum twice per year at events hosted by a council parks department to discuss issues and share ideas relating to parks planning\, management and operations. Membership excludes non-council staff\, such as representatives from industry suppliers and consultants. Whilst it does not have a formal set of rules or statement of purposes\, the MPMF was established for the following key reasons: – To provide park managers and aspiring managers with access to a network of like-minded people.– To share resources\, information and experiences relating to parks management.– To provide opportunities for professional development and learning.
