About the opportunity
Council is currently seeking an experienced, community minded and customer focused Recreation Planner to assist in the development and implementation of strategies for recreation and community facility infrastructure within Council’s open space network.

The Recreation Planner will oversee the management and operation of Council’s recreation and community facilities, develop and implement management agreements, as well as provide strategic advice on planning and future development of recreation and community facility infrastructure.

To be successful in this role you will lean on your qualifications in Sport, Recreation or Planning and experience developing high quality strategic recreation documents, such as Masterplans, Plans of Management or Community facility strategic plans. Experience in leading a team will also be highly desirable.

Remuneration:
An attractive remuneration package is on offer which will be negotiated with the successful candidate and includes 12% superannuation and a leaseback vehicle.
