The Role
Make a difference in our community!

The Sport & Recreation Officer will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of Council sporting facilities and assests, to ensure safety and access to facilities for all. This includes management of sports ground allocations process, school/community bookings, facility maintenance and maintaining a good understanding of clubs’ facility requirements and governance affairs. This role will be one of two Sports & Recreation Officer positions with sporting clubs allocated to each officer (Liasion) based on Council planning precints.

About you
This role requires someone who has stakeholder management experience with community sports clubs or Community organisations. Good attention to details and is interested in making a positive change in health & wellbeing within the community and ensuring City of Whittlesea Clubs are a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
