Leisure Planning Project Officer – Full Time

  • Salary: $86,707 - $91,973 per annum

  • Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)

To be successful in this role, you will need substantial experience in the sport, leisure and recreation industry particularly in the area of leisure planning. Highly developed project management skills and substantial experience delivering multiple projects is essential.


In addition, the role requires highly developed written skills and experience in writing detailed reports for executive management level. Substantial experience consulting with key stakeholders, sporting clubs and community groups is also required.


Your covering letter will need to address the following key criteria:


  • Your experience in the recreation industry, highlighting your involvement in leisure/facility planning projects.

  • Your experience in managing projects and proven ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Your experience in writing high level detailed reports (experience in writing in a local government context is highly regarded).

  • Your experience with consulting with key stakeholders on leisure/facility planning projects.

  • Your experience in facilitating and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
