Inclusion and it's place in society.

PLA NSW/ACT together with Kompan are proud to present a one day seminar to discuss inclusion in play and community spaces on Tuesday 19 March at Moore Park Golf House. The day will include presenters discussing the importance of inclusion in society, accessibility, future trends and inclusion models. From pop up inclusive parks, playspaces, community spaces, and programs, to practical opportunities, available resources and local case study examples.

Program includes:

  • International Guest Speaker - Jeanette Jespersen, KOMPAN Play Institute
  • Designing public spaces for children and young people- Dr Kate Bishop, Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Built Environment, University of New South Wales
  • Ollie Webb Reserve - All Inclusive Playground - How spatial design challenges evolve into opportunities for enhancing sustainable social communities - Adam Cook, City of Parramatta
  • How diverse minds and design thinking can turbocharge inclusion - Caroline Ghatt & Tim Smith, Play for All Australia
