We've been on technical tours all over the metro area and have seen some amazing Playspaces designed by commercial landscape architect firms. On this tour, we will concentrate on playspaces that have been designed internally by the LGA landscape design team.

This tour will feature the City of Joondalup.

The City is a unique Local Government when it comes to playspaces and parks, and is consistently producing innovative playgrounds often on a very moderate budget, with all design aspects completed in-house.

To see some of the progressive designs and to learn about the approach the City has been using, we will hear directly from the Landscape Architect team, followed by a bus tour to some of the playspaces. This tour will highlight the struggles, wins and most importantly, how to achieve great recreational space for the community on a shoestring budget.
