Paul Handcock

Paul Handcock has had the usual varied career – IT Guy, Project Manager, and Data Guy before joining the City of Melville as the Infrastructure Asset Officer, Asset Management Coordinator and now Senior Asset Officer.  His most unusual task involved working out how low flying fighter aircraft were crashing his computers.

His work interests include Asset Management (AM) systems, Infrastructure Strategies and data migrations.  He has performed the usual stuff – collected data, manipulated data, reported on data and connected data to other systems.  He has managed the growth of assets in the system from 100 to over 125,000, the integration of AM into the Operations Capital Works process, the connection of AM plans to the Community Plan and the LTFP, overseen the use field tablets for data collection and the daily use of AM in the organisation.

The work on Parks Asset Management has been the most satisfying work recently.

We look forward to welcoming you for a morning of connection, conversation and collaboration as we plan for a successful year ahead.
