PLA Membership Terms and Conditions

PLA members are required to indicate their acceptance of all terms and conditions of membership. New applications and renewals will not be processed until confirmation is received.

1. Membership Period

Our Membership period runs for twelve (12) months, from 1 July to 30 June each year. Membership is for one (1) year or in the case of new memberships until 1 July and then renewed annually. All membership fees must be paid in advance.

2. Payment

New memberships

Parks and Leisure Australia will charge a pro rata rate calculated from the date of joining to 30 June. Fees are due 30 days from the date of invoice. When taking out a membership after 1 March, the membership fee will calculate a full financial year plus the 3 month pro-rata period.

Membership renewals

An invoice will be sent to you prior to your membership renewal date which is payable with 30 day payment terms.

If a member does not pay their membership fees within the 30 day period, they will cease to be a PLA member. If any membership benefits have been accessed during the period of joining and when the membership is cancelled, then an invoice will be issued to cover the cost of these benefits.

3. Purchase Orders

If you require a Purchase Order for your invoice it will need to be provided at least 14 days prior to issuing of renewal invoice.

Parks and Leisure Australia can add a Purchase Order to your invoice after it has been issued, however the date of the invoice will not be amended to suit the Purchase Order date.

4. Membership Activation

New memberships will be activated once you have paid your invoice. If you would like to receive benefits immediately at the time of joining, we recommend payment by credit card.

If your membership is not paid within the payment terms, your membership will be deactivated.

A representative of the Membership is required to indicate their acceptance of all terms and conditions of membership. New applications and renewals will not be processed until confirmation is received.

5. Renewal

Invoices will be automatically generated prior to the end of the membership period.

In the event that you do not wish to renew, please contact the membership officer at national office at 08 8332 0130 or at membership@parksleisure.com.au.

6. Cancellation/refund policy

There is no refund of any membership fees should you cancel your membership at any stage during your membership term.
