Sue Suter is a long-standing member of PLA and a significant contributor to our industry. In the 1990’s she was on the NSW /ACT regional council and also served as its President. Moving to South Australia in 2002, she then became the SA/NT Regional President in 2017 and served on the National Board. As a national board member Sue was a significant contributor to the current strategic plan and was a key person in the development of policies for PLA.

Locally she continued her PLA involvement serving as that region’s Deputy President driving a number of events and programs. She instigated the SA Open Space Planners network that connected open space planning professionals to further their knowledge in these disciplines

As the principal consultant at Suter Planners, a specialist consultancy in the field of recreation and community planning, Suzanne has undertaken many strategies, management plans and guidelines for clients at local and state government levels throughout the country.
