EVENT RECAP – Parks Forum + Tour

We were thrilled to celebrate Parks Week last Thursday with a forum exploring the ‘Design and Development of La Trobe Sports Park’ with a facilitated discussion on Parks and Open Space Maintenance. 

We heard from:

• Nick Lambert, Senior Manager – Sport Infrastructure and Operations at La Trobe Sport, who took us on the La Trobe Sports Park journey from idea to reality 
• Lucas Skelton – Field of Play Team Leader at SPORTENG, who took us through the design and development of La Trobe Sports Park
  
• Dean Jamieson – General Manager Operations (Victoria) from Green by Nature, who are the contracted open space maintenance provider at La Trobe Sports Park
• Representatives from Banyule City Council who spoke to the broader community outcomes achieved at La Trobe Sports Park and rising expectations of open space management

Best of all, we were treated to a behind the scenes tour of La Trobe Sports Park!
