Join Parks and Leisure VIC/TAS and the team at Porous Lane as we host a webinar exploring their state-of-the-art pavement technology developed via research undertaken in collaboration with the University of Melbourne.Â
Porous Lane’s innovative permeable pavement has been adopted by numerous councils to support sustainable infrastructure, particularly in parklands and around trees. Made from up to 50% Australian recycled tyre material, Porous Lane offers a range of multifaceted benefits, including passive irrigation, stormwater treatment, reduced excavation needs, and minimized risk of cracks and trip hazards from tree root movement.
This presentation will also cover the extensive research background behind Porous Lane’s technology, which includes rigorous laboratory testing and field monitoring conducted in collaboration with the University of Melbourne, ensuring its effectiveness and durability in real-world applications.
