The Sam Kerr Football Centre is the home of Football in Western Australia. Co-managed by VenuesWest and Football West.
Designed to meet international standards, the Sam Kerr Football Centre has the calibre to host and support world-class teams. Recently used as one of the training facilities in Perth for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023â„¢ hosting teams from Denmark, Canada, Panama, Haiti and Morocco. The centre includes a two-story building with a grandstand, two competition pitches and training pitches, on-site parking, and three 5-a-side playing pitches.
Football West manage the day-to-day running of the venue including the management of commercial sponsorships, while VenuesWest owns the asset, on behalf of the State Government, assisting Football West through the co-management agreement and also overseeing the ongoing maintenance of the asset.
The Department of Local, Government, Sport, and Cultural Industries (DLGSC) has been instrumental in overseeing the development of the Sam Kerr Football Centre since the project commenced in February 2022. This commitment has paved the way for a facility that is set to elevate football in Western Australia. The Centre was jointly funded by the State and Commonwealth Governments.
