Submission Overview
Gasworks Arts Park upgrade strengthens its role as a vibrant community hub, enhancing a much‑loved inner‑urban park with inclusive play spaces, accessible paths and welcoming lighting that supports safer and more inclusive use. A diverse planting palette, featuring over 300 new trees and more than 3,500 shrubs and groundcovers, enriches habitat, increases shade and improves microclimate comfort, all while preserving the park’s distinctive bushland character.
