The Alkimos Beach Foreshore and Bathers Park have achieved the goal of retaining and enhancing the existing coastal dune ecosystem and providing exemplar amenity for the local community. Alkimos Beach is the first BeachSAFE community, with its own Surf Life Saving Club that provides family water education programs and the area’s only patrolled beach. Bathers Park has been developed in partnership with Surf Lifesaving WA and provides a sand training area, volleyball nets, a turfed amphitheatre and a surf lifesaving themed play area. A plaza with three phase power provides an event location.
