Yarra Valley Public Open Space Reservation: Outline Development Plan

The Outline Development Plan of the Yarra Valley Reserve proposes a general outline of passive and active use areas – with an interlinking pedestrian/vehicular circulation pattern and amenities areas distributed at key points within this system. The overall significance of the Yarra Valley for its existing characteristics, landscape, and habitat as a unique feature within the metropolitan area is reflected in
the emphasis on passive open space proposals in the Plan, The preservation, protection, and improvement of these natural characteristics is intended by the development of these areas for passive recreation use.
