This innovative project was collaboratively delivered by the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure and Place Lab.

The park’s design integrates Indigenous cultural symbolism, such as the Wangim (boomerang) pathways, and artistic depictions of animals like Belliyung the bat and Gawa the echidna, representing flight. These elements, alongside native plantings and accessible play spaces, promote inclusivity and connection.
