As the key custodian of the public realm, the City acknowledges its fundamental role in protecting, promoting, and enhancing urban greening. Green open spaces connect the City’s residents and visitors with Perth’s unique natural beauty and deliver a range of benefits for our community’s physical and mental well-being and the overall liveability, landscape character, biodiversity, and climate resilience of our city. The City has sought to implement a number of initiatives that help green our locality, improve climate resilience, and ensure sustainability now and into the future.
