This Poster was first provided in 2010 at the NRPA National Congress in Minneapolis Minnesota, USA. The focus is on how to manage sport and recreation / leisure partnerships. Data from John Tower’s PhD provided the data for this Poster. The partnership management principles can be applied in many other park and leisure settings. Communication, trust, facilities, leadership, shared goals / values, cooperation, commitment and focus on quality are the eight principles to guide partnership management. Sport and recreation organisations that performed well in their application of these principles were able to achieve more positive economic and community outcomes.
