The Adelaide Statement 2023: Sustainable Places, Spaces, People and Habitats

From 22–26 October 2023, Parks & Leisure Australia and World Urban Parks hosted the Joint International Congress in Adelaide, South Australia. The Congress theme, Sustainable Places, Spaces, People and Habitats, explored how parks and leisure professionals can make cities more active, cooler, greener, wilder and inclusive. Participants developed The Adelaide Statement which constitutes a comprehensive collective declaration representing the consensus of organisers and delegates of the Congress.
