Join us for an afternoon of fun water play and essential water safety activities to build confidence in and around the water. Perfect for kids and families, this event offers a safe and engaging environment to enjoy the pool while learning valuable water skills.
Water Play Zone & Water Safety Games (1pm-3pm)
A dedicated space filled with fun water toys, floats, and interactive water safety games for kids and families. Swim Teachers will be on hand to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Starting with well-known territory, this extra walk will take us, at times, along the beach, heading west through Inverloch village along the foreshore to the Surf Club, returning to the village for coffee in a chosen cafe; approximately 4.1k each way. Mostly flat. Approximately one hour each way at a moderate pace.
Dogs welcome. Shoes suitable for path and sand advised. Check the weather beforehand. Unless there is stormy rain, wind, lightening forecast- the walk will go ahead. Moderate rain does not deter us!

This free community event is perfect for seniors looking to stay active, socialise, and enjoy the outdoors. Whether you're an experienced pole walker or trying it for the first time, we welcome everyone - including those who may have difficulty walking. Each participant walks at their own pace, completing as many laps of the oval as they feel comfortable with. Our regular walkers typically do between 1 and 15 laps, taking breaks as needed. Walking poles will be provided.
After the walk, we invite you to join us for a releaxed coffee catch-up at Steel Tree Cafe, located across from the oval.

Join the Brownhill Creek Hikers for a Parks Week walk and explore local parks and green spaces. It’s a great chance to connect with fellow walkers, enjoy fresh air, and boost your heart and mind.

Bring a headlamp

Bring anything else to make your hike enjoyable
The walk starts at 6:45 pm from Brownhill Creek Car Park, and will last until around 8:45 pm (depending on the group's pace).

Cardinia Shire Council, in partnership with Aligned Leisure and AusCycling will deliver 2 free one hour sessions teaching children aged between 5-12 years how to ride a bike and road safety, in one of our Pakenham reserves.
Former profession cyclist, Brenton Jones will coach the kids to build confidence to learn the skill of riding a bike.
Aligned Leisure will bring the fun with the Street Team Jeep filled with sporting equipment.
TREK Bikes, a local Pakenham business, will be there to offer advice and help with small repairs on site, even if you are not participating, bring your bike down for a check over.
