The $88.6 million dollar, swimming, fitness and wellness hub, Parramatta Aquatic Centre officially opened its doors to the community on 25 September 2023. Located within Parramatta Park on the doorstep of the CBD, the Parramatta Aquatic Centre (PAC) is a year-round destination for the whole community.
Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in a ‘back of house’ tour of the facility, including all public facilities as well as pool plant rooms and back of house offices. Our Parramatta Council speakers will share their challenges, learnings, and successes across the journey to get the centre to open, as well as their continued learnings from the first month of operations. Members will appreciate the shared learnings and openness of how challenges were met and responded to.
