Submission Overview
The Collating Our Canopy project was initiated to enhance urban canopy cover and improve tree management in the City of Canada Bay. By collecting data on 28,000 trees, including species, health, and size, the project enabled better planning for tree planting, risk management, and urban forest strategies. The integration of cloud-based Forestree platform transformed tree data to supporting the development of the City’s first Tree Asset Management Plan and improving decision-making across departments
