Submission Overview
The Shelley Beach Park playground, located on the Canning River Foreshore, was designed by the City of Canning as its first district, multi-generational play space. Featuring three inclusive play zones, it promotes learning through play while catering to various age groups. An innovative, community-led engagement approach created a space that reflects local identity, encourages active play, and fosters connection for people of all ages and abilities.
