Nick has been a long-term, active supporter of Parks and Leisure Australia (PLA), and more broadly to other organisations that promote and support the parks, leisure and community sport sectors. Nick’s personal and professional contributions toward enhancement of the standard of the industry has been extensive, impactful and enduring.

Nick has consistently shared his experience and leadership at international, national, and state conferences. These presentations have been heavily attended, and have provided insights related to leadership, training and education of parks and leisure industry staff, crisis and risk management, organisational change, development and sustainment, and most recent topics have focussed on innovation, merging trends, and parks and leisure industry transformation for a changing world.
