Creating a Future of Inclusivity, Fairness, and Equity
Webinar: 1 November 2023
Collective Leisure, a certified social enterprise (business for good), focuses on reducing health inequity with a systems-aware, complexity-informed approach, guided by their purpose, “enabling well-being without boundaries.”
They lead WSYD Moving, a whole of system initiative to enable more active lives in Western Sydney. To support system change, they co-create initiatives for underserved communities, fostering well-being. Additionally, they operate as a Work Integration Social Enterprise, offering training and job opportunities to young people from refugee backgrounds in the sports and leisure industry.
David will discuss social enterprise and their approach, including system leadership, community activations and the upcoming WSYD Moving Symposium. Scheduled for 16 November at the new Blacktown Exercise Sports and Technology Hub. The event is dedicated to reducing inactivity and inequality in Western Sydney.
