Discuss the planning, design and construction of this unique, inclusive playspace which features innovative play elements – such as an 8-key Marimba, sound bouncers and sensory trails – designed to help children develop their sensory skills.
About Westerfield Drive Sensory Playspace
Westerfield Drive Sensory Playspace delivers a new sensory playspace in Notting Hill for children of all abilities (and their families/carers) to enjoy in an area of Monash that had an under-provision of open space and playspaces.
This playspace provides opportunities for sensory stimulation (sound, sight, touch, smell), as well as engagement in interpretive, educational and nature play elements, and includes mural art and Access Key.
