Division of Crown Land Management: Preparation of Management Plans

Management planning is still in its infancy. The most difficult task is to write something which is detailed enough to be directly useful to future managers, yet general enough to remain valid for several years despite rapid changes in society and government. This circular from the Victorian Department of Crown Lands and Survey outlines the procedure that land management Officers should adopt in undertaking the division of crown lands through the development of a land management plan.
