The plan outlines a vision for Docklands to be a key driver of Melbourne’s economy with a unique urban waterfront reflecting Melbourne’s elegance, diversity and culture. It includes plans to invest $300 million in community infrastructure across 30 community-endorsed projects. So far, 77 per cent of the 73 community priorities identified in the plan have been delivered. These range from major infrastructure projects such as Library at The Dock and Community Hub at The Dock, as well as Jim Stynes Bridge through to creative initiatives such as 5 Short Blasts and First Friday Dance Club.
