THE ROLE OF THE NORTHERN TERRITORY RESERVES BOARD IN RELATION TO NATIONAL PARKS IN THE NORTHERN TERRITORY

The following notes attempt to set out in some detail the concept of a “national park” according to world standards and suggest future lines of action for consideration by Board members. To support the submission there are a number of extracts from addresses given by delegates attending the first World Conference on
National Parks in Seattle in 1962.
