The 2024 PLAWA State Conference brings together industry experts offering inspiring and innovative content unlocking potential: our people, our places.
We kick things off with a behind the scenes Technical Tours on Monday 18th November 2024. You will then be able to immerse yourself in two days of keynotes, panel sessions and presentations across 5 diverse streams:
- Parks – design and manage our public spaces
- Places – activate and operate our community leisure facilities
- Planning – plan and conceptualise for sport, recreation and leisure
- Participation – activate and energise through sports, recreation and events
- People – grow and thrive through personal development
- Play – focusing on innovative approaches to play spaces and their impact on communities

Join us for a choice of several different behind the scenes tours of some of the most recently opened sport, leisure and recreation facilities in Western Australia.
Following the tour take the opportunity to network with industry colleagues at one of Perth’s riverside venues.
