A management plan of the Bayside Parklands, which was prepared in the culmination of a two year effort commencing with the establishment of the Bayside Parklands Advisory Committee in June 1994. The intent of the management plan is to provide a clear vision and sense of direction for
Council and community regarding the ongoing planning, management and development of the Bayside Parklands. Additionally, the report explores the cultural heritage values relating to the Turrbal people. The plan identifies numerous issues with the parklands, including water quality, fragmentation of wildlife corridors and sustainable levels of visitor use, before recommending seven key strategies, including community involvement.
