Powlett River Reserve : a strategy for management / issued under the guidance of the Coastal Management Committee

This statement of resources and strategy for management explores present and future public use of Powlett River Reserve located on Victoria’s Western Port Bay, and plans to protect its amenity and “naturalness”. The Land Conservation Council recommends that the reserve should be used primarily for recreation and nature conservation and further recommend that management should take particular care to maintain the landscape of a long exposed beach backed by high dunes and the salt marsh and sand dune vegetation with Antechinus minimus.
