Event Description:

Music in the Gardens - all local musicians - the Youth String Band, the combined Concert and Brass Bands, Jo Paull will sing through the decades accompanied by Steve and his guitar, the Taupo String Orchestra and a couple of bagpipers to end it all. Nature activities for children, organised by Kids Greening Taupo, and the chance of a sausage. Bring a rug or deckchair although there will be some seating available. Brig a picnic, and family and friends. Free entry. Donations very welcome - and will be spent on plants for the Gardens.

Tamworth Regional Council is embracing “Phones away, it’s time to play” for Parks Week 3 - 7 March 2025. Council is promoting Parks Week with a theme of “Phones away, it’s time to play” at a designated park each day across the region. During these days, we encourage the community to not use their phones but instead actively engage with their friends, family and the park environment!
